Master of Science in Informatics (MASI)

Initiative Description

The MASI is an applied master combining theoretical concepts and intensive lab implementation, in collaboration projects and reflexive placements in companies. The development of a final work completes that university level training (joint degree with the universities of Liège and Namur). That 120-credit master (2 years) trains specialists.

Training Objectives

Smart Agrifood Academy and FIWARE INNOVA iHUB aims to support and promote tech innovation for the development of Smart Agri-food applications and services, contributing to strengthening FIWARE technology as an European standard.

Introduction to precision farming and innovative technologies, Remote sensing: satellite data and drones, Sampling methods for phytosanitary control and crop operations, Forecast models for agriculture: irrigation, fertilization, and crops defense
