New brochure by I4MS Initiative just published
I4MS Initiative has recently published the brochure “Bringing the 4th industrial revolution closer to European manufacturing SMEs” to present latest services and technologies that the initiative is offering, as part of the Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) programme, to SMEs, mid-caps and technology providers in manufacturing domain, who are interested in integrating Industry 4.0 technologies into their production processes and value chain propositions.
Main purpose of this overview is to inspire SMEs and mid-caps to consider the adoption of I4MS technologies and contact the Digital Innovation Hubs that developed them to assess future implementation opportunities.
The brochure also intends to provide a summary of the latest technological proposals created by Innovation Actions working under the I4MS umbrella and examples of Application Experiments in which they were successfully deployed.
Information gathered by the brochure includes:
* Leading edge technologies under I4MS (this is, are Cyber-Physical Systems and Internet of Things, Additive Manufacturing, Robotics and High-Performance Computing), represented the corresponding Innovation Action that provides services to SMEs and mid-caps via different digital marketplaces.
* an overview of the open calls for Application Experiments under the initiative, which offer financial and knowledge-based support to conduct small pilot projects to test Industry 4.0 technologies and assess the impact of scaling them up within companies.
* the online training catalogue, which provides an overview of the skills development trajectories for Industry 4.0 topics offered by Digital Innovation Hubs and Innovation Actions across Europe to support manufacturing SMEs in the digitalization of their production processes.
* a description of the I4MS community, an online collaborative space to easily become acquainted with the latest digital technologies and to get in contact with organizations and individuals who have experience deploying these technologies in industrial settings.
