LASHARE assessments

5 out of 14 laser-based equipment assessments in LASHARE have entered their final implementation phase. The second wave of assessments started in 2016 and has achieved a number of technological advances. Five teams now start to implement their prototype solution to run it in an industrial environment with the aim to validate the pre-defined objectives.

The competence centers that participate in LASHARE actually prepare a workshop on cross sectional activities to be held early 2018. Topics like automation, standardization and ICT integration are complemented by the theme “Data-driven production optimization”. Here, more than seventy partners from LASHARE will collaborate on a joint approach to exploit today’s opportunities of data collection and analysis for laser-based equipment.
