I4MS Talk: Industry 4.0 & the integrated environment

In this I4MS Talk, you will learn about horizontal and vertical integration, concerning the connections inside the company. The premise of the evolution fueled by Industry 4.0 is that the assets in a manufacturing company are smart, networked and integrated.

During this I4MS Talks Valerio Alessandroni, I4MS Ambassador will talk about the importance of horizontal and vertical integration and how the Industry 4.0 has further amplified it by making them a backbone of Smart Factory.

About the speaker as an Electronic Engineer graduated in Milano, Italy, Alessandroni has been involved in some of the technical arguments that lead to Industry 4.0. Lectures and keynotes for customers like the TTU/Taltech (Tallinn University), the Zigurat Innovation and Technology Business School (Barcelona University) and international Erasmus+ projects are among his recent references, from which some books resulted and also the open LinkedIn group ‘Industry 4.0 in Europe’.
