I4MS Talk “Industry 4.0 & the integrated environment”

The premise of the evolution fueled by Industry 4.0 is that the assets in a manufacturing company are smart, networked and integrated.

On the I4MS Talk of the 24th of February 2021 Valerio Alessandroni, I4MS Ambassador talked about the importance of horizontal and vertical integration and how Industry 4.0 has further amplified it by making it a backbone of Smart Factory.

As an Electronic Engineer graduated in Milano, Italy, Alessandroni has been involved in some of the technical arguments that lead to Industry 4.0. Lectures and keynotes for customers like the TTU/Taltech (Tallinn University), the Zigurat Innovation and Technology Business School (Barcelona University) and international Erasmus+ projects are among his recent references, from which some books resulted and also the open LinkedIn group ‘Industry 4.0 in Europe’.
