Simulating and improving food packaging

Description

Challenge:

 The project aims to create a software simulation of a packaging line conveying milk and liquid dairy products: during the stop of one machine It is very important to forecast the whole behaviour of the line in the next future, in order to take adequate solutions
A forecasting model based on a line virtualization filled from on-line data will allow the company to analyse different scenarios with time horizon of few minutes, and will help the managers to take the best operative decisions in order to minimize the problems

Output: 

By making it possible to "decouple" the simulation itself from the visualization it is assumed that it might be able to reduce the system requirements, resulting in decreased hardware costs.
