Isonaval is also a Spanish SME specialised in naval architecture and marine engineering. Compassis is a Spanish SME specialising in engineering design, particularly involving structural and multiphysics calculations. Such simulations are complex and require the use of HPC, particularly when many simulations are needed to quantify the lifetime of a marine structure with emphasis on fatigue. This Case Study aims to develop a pay-per-use Cloud-based-HPC service to assess the lifetime of marine structure subject to waves and various sea states.
