Cloud-based simulation for non-invasive intercranial pressure measurement


Vittamed is a Lithuanian SME which has developed a product for the non-invasive measurement of intercranial pressure. To address the market demand for higher accuracy requires 3-D simulations of blood flow in specific cerebral arteries. Such simulations are complex, require the used of advanced HPC-based computations and exceed the in-house capabilities of Vittamed. This Case Study will demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of such simulations to Vittamed and how the necessary computational requirements can be realised via a pay-per-use Cloud-based-HPC solution.
