Ingecon is a Spanish SME which intends to offer a geospatial information service using Cloud-based HPC. Accurate cartography is important in sectors such as civil engineering, mining and construction. Several tens of thousands of maps have to be analysed each year in the wind farm area alone. This case study will demonstrate a Cloud-based-HPC service for transforming geographical maps in different formats and spatial resolutions to a regular XYZ grid format. It will also support the interpolation of maps in areas with missing information.
