Q&A Session on 2nd Open Call of MIDIH
Following the webinar that was held on June, 18th, MIDIH project is organising a Questions & Answers Session on their 2nd open call, which will take place on 23rd July 2019, at 15:00 CEST, in the Open Calls & funding opportunities space of the I4MS Community, for those who have last minute questions and doubts on the application process.
MIDIH experts, Carmen Polcaro and Angelo Marguglio, will be answering the audience questions and solving their doubts.
Carmen Polcaro, MIDIH open call manager, is an expert in assessing and supporting SMEs in their research and innovation activities. With a scientific background in Industrial Chemistry and Material Science, she is coordinating several R+D European projects in the field of ICT solutions (IoT, Cyberphysical systems, Big Data) for the manufacturing industry and she is leading technological, business and networking activities for SMEs provided through Digital Innovation Hubs.
Angelo Marguglio, MIDIH Technical Coordinator, is the Research Area Manager and Head of “Smart Industry and agrifood” Unit within the R&D lab of ENGINEERING, with a long experience on both National and H2020 projects dealing with Industrial IoT, Industrial Analytics and Social Software. Author of several scientific publications and conferences, his technical background and research initiatives include System Architectures and interoperability, Big Data infrastructures, and Future Internet technologies. He is involved in several projects related to Data Management for Manufacturing Industry.

MIDIH is a “one stop shop” of services, providing industry with access to the most advanced digital solutions and the most advanced industrial experiments. The second call of this project funded by the European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 targets the development of data driven applications, preferably by IT SMEs as technology providers, and experiments in CPS/IoT preferably by Manufacturing SMEs.
