Digital technologies such as High-Performance Computing, Internet of Things, Big Data, blockchain, robotics and artificial intelligence allow businesses to produce higher-value products and improve production processes .

European companies are not making the most of all the opportunities digital has to offer. This slow uptake of digital technologies poses a risk to the European Unions ability to compete in the global economy, create new jobs and grow.

Maria Roca, Senior Project Manager at FundingBox. Ms Roca is working to facilitate the access of SMEs to EU innovations and EU projects results and opportunities to boost their competitiveness and growth.

Romualdas Petraitis, CEO at SMART ENERGY DIH and International expert of innovation at Lithuanian Confederation  of Industrialists. Ambassador of the European Commission‘s initiatives of the I4MS and i4Trust. Strategist, visionary, mentor, technology transfer expert. Initiator and expert of international projects.

Mantas Vilys Director at Lithuanian Innovation Centre and coordinator of candidate EDIH for Lithuania – EDIH4IAE.LT. Advisor for SMEs and government in many initiatives and projects oriented towards (international) technology partnership building, business and design innovation, digital transformation.

Gintaras Vilda, Director of the Manufacturing Innovation Valley, has worked as Vice Minister of the Economy and Innovation, as director of the Lithuanian Association of Engineering Industry LINPRA, chairman of PI Intechcentras and a coordinator of the Lithuanian Plastics Cluster.

Bartosz Józefowski Deputy director of Krakow Technology Park responsible for all our industry 4.0 projects. Bartosz has been dealing with technological innovations since 2013. Currently Bartosz is responsible for development of hub4industry, a DIH of Krakow Technology Park.
