cloudSME company founded at the beginning of 2016

CloudSME offerings will be introduced to public in different webinars during the next months

At the end of the EC funded R&D project “cloudSME”, partners decided to extend their partnership to the future. This led to the foundation of a company whose profile can be described with “an App Center selling Modeling and Simulation as a Service supplemented with High-Performance Computing as a Service”. The cloudSME offerings will be introduced to several webinars during the next months.

 

As the end of the cloudSME project has been approaching by the end of 2015, cloudSME partners came together to lead the results of the project to the future.  Use cases were either finished or about to do that and the set-up of the App Center homepage built the first approach to commercialization for cloudSME. cloudSME is a multi-sided cloud access platform for simulation software addressing stakeholders from different areas, such as software providers (ISVs), simulation software end-users and value added resellers (VARs). In the cloudSME App Center customers will find a row of software applications that can be rented next to a flexible environment

The cloudSME UG is set up as a German spin-off company, located in Duisburg, Germany. The company structure involves partners from Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Germany and associated countries like Suisse and Turkey, countries, where cloudSME is therefore already present.

During the following months cloudSME will introduce itself to public by organizing several webinars. The next webinar on “How software vendors integrate High Performance Computing into their software.” and take place on 5 April 2016 at 4pm.
