BEinCPPS kick-off meeting

Hosted by Politecnico di Milano the BEinCPPS kick-off meeting took place in the newest campus of Milano Bovisa on 9 and 10 November 2015. 35 people representing all 23 partners from eight European countries attended the event.

During the meeting the focus was on the main goal of the project, the creation of five ecosystems in selected Vanguard Regions: Lombardia (IT), Euskadi (ES), Baden-Wuttemberg (DE), Norte (PT) and Rhone Alpes (FR), with the mission to improve the adoption of CPPS first in their region and then all over Europe.

Representatives of the five Ecosystems has extensively presented Cyberphysical Production Systems Technologies available, the Experiments to be carried out, Business services provided as well as the strategic approach designed to involve local competence centers and manufacturing SMEs, in line with the principles of I4MS.
