Introduction to OPIL

Initiative Description

The training provides an introduction to OPIL. OPIL is an IoT system developed to support the implementation of intra factory logistics. It allows having mobile robots, sensors, enterprise software applications and simulation software to communicate with each other in a simple and integrated way. This reduces drastically the overhead of implementing mobile robots to automate logistics processes in factories.

Learn the basic capabilities of Cloud Computing and Big Data in the Industry to understand what Industrial IoT is, and analyze a case study of predictive maintenance based on IoT, Learn new trends in Industry 4.0 such as collaborative robotics.
