The adjustable sole
TADSOLE aims to realise a concept through additive manufacturing to create an adjustable sole for sports and functional work shoes. These shoes shall provide individual individual comfort and safety features to ease the wear and to increase protection for the people. The challenge is to develop a mechanism to fit in a sole that can:
- prevent injuries;
- promote sporting performance
- make both recreational and top-level sports as well as outdoor activities more accessible to the general public.
The aim of the experiment is to
- Develop a midsole that can be completely customized to the user’s needs through the use of Additive Manufacturing (AM).
