The intensity of the noise around us has quadrupled in the last 90 years. There is a clear need to suppress such noise at its source. German SME, CFD Schuck, is active in the area of noise suppression. Advances in CFD and the use of advanced, cloud-based CFD simulation enable the generation of unwanted noise to be minimised. However, such simulations result in large amounts of data which are difficult and time-consuming to analyse.
