Disruptor Awards winner to be announced at DEI Stakeholders Forum 2019
The winner of the Second Edition Disruptors Awards will be announced in Madrid on November 14th 2019 at the Digitizing European Industry Stakeholder Forum 2019, during the session called “Digital Innovation Hubs – success stories” at noon.
Four finalists have been shortlisted out of the total applicants of the open call of 2019, which closed on September 16th, and will be invited to the event, where the winner will be selected among them. These finalists are:
Hanning Elektro-Werke GmbH & Co. KG
With a wide experience and expertise as a specialist for customer-specific drive systems and components, this German company has taken part in an experiment called “Optimizing design and production of electric drives” which was supported under first wave of CloudiFacturing.
Elaphe Propulsion Technologies Ltd.
Elaphe is a Slovenian company which uses innovative and disruptive technologies with the aim of increasing efficiency, promoting sustainable use of energy and minimizing energy-dependency on fossil fuels. They took part in the experiment called “HPC-Cloud-based simulation of coupled electromagnetic and structural-acoustics in in-wheel electric motors”, which was supported by Fortissimo 2.
This Italian company joins the knowledge of textile and clothing business on one side and of IT on the other. They have taken part in an experiment called “PeRsOnalised design by manuFactuIng LifEcycle feedback loop”, which was selected under the first open call of MIDIH under the category “Modeling and Simulation innovative HPC/Cloud applications for highly personalised Smart Products”.
Nabladot, from Spain, has taken part in the experiment called “Optimizing solar panel production”, selected by Cloudifacturing in their first wave.
The winner of the 2nd Disruptors Award will receive a prize package consisting of:
- A specially designed offline and online visibility during the Mobile World Congress. 2 exhibition tickets for the whole MWC (access to selected seminars and courses are included in this pass).
- A visibility package which includes the promotion of the experiments and the winning SMEs or midcap via the I4MS online community, website, social networks, blog and I4MS newsletter, plus the opportunity to be featured as the best digital transformation case in different newsletters linked to the I4MS ecosystem.
- A half-day workshop for technological and innovation support from MADE and DTI.
