I4MS Initiative shall be present on “Research and Innovation in the European Manufacturing Industry “Conference held in EMO Milano Congress Centre, next 9th of October 2015
I4MS will be represented by three of the current seven projects involved in the initiative: INTEFIX, LASHARE and Fortissimo; in the international conference organized by CECIMO, the European Association of the Machine Tool Industries. This event shall count with a multidisciplinary group of participants and speakers as well as a joint booth with public demonstrators based on the prototypes developed under the implementation of mentioned I4MS projects. The conference will take place in EMO Milano Congress Centre (Milan-Italy), next 9th of October at 10:00-13:00 (Room Scorpio).
The conference will open with a keynote speech carried out by Mr. Andrea Gentili from European Commission focusing on EU Policies and R&D Programmes. In addition, the Programme will be complemented with interesting presentations of innovation case studies, highlighting the participation of partners involved in the three I4MS projects. Finally, a panel comprised of different stakeholders from industry, government and academia shall take the opportunity for discussing about the identification of innovation drivers under the European manufacturing domain during the Session II of the Programme.
