Fortissimo 2 - Open Call to be launched

The first open call within the Fortissimo 2 project has been a great success. In total 73 proposals for additional experiments have been submitted by Small & Medium Enterprises from all over Europe. During the summer 10 proposal have been selected by independent evaluators to be funded under the Fortissimo 2 project. These experiments and their approach demonstrating the business benefits of cloud-based simulation will be announced shortly. Meanwhile, it is time to get ready for the second Open Call to be launched later this month. The open call will close in December 2016. The concrete dates will be published soon on the I4MS and the Fortissimo webpages.

Summer School Digital Innovation Hubs
A key objective of I4MS phase 2 is to expand the initiative to countries and regions not currently involved, with the ultimate aim to establish a Digital Innovation Hub in every European Region.
EuRoC Mid-term Evaluation Event
The mid-term evaluation event of EuRoC will be held on 19 and 20 September at ETH Zürich. The aim of the evaluation is to decide the admission of the Challenger Teams to Round bof Stage II of the EuRoC Challenges.
